About

Daniel Rosen

Founder and CFO Partner

Daniel founded Rosen CFO Partners after seeing a need for small business and non-profits to have access to the same financial planning as large enterprise without breaking the bank. His 15 years of experience building forecasts, budgets, reporting systems, and finance teams that enabled growing companies’ leadership to know and trust their numbers. Daniel was Head of Corporate FP&A at a insurtech where he owned planning, forecasting, and capacity for $400M+ in spend and 1,300 employees across 40 departments and over 30 entities in many currencies, as the company scaled from a 300-person PE-backed business through IPO. Before that, he led FP&A and global strategy for businesses across Comcast. He’s also board chair and former treasurer for a non-profit with a $3M+ endowment and a $2M+ annual budget.

His AI fluency isn’t a pivot — Daniel leverages AI throughout his finance career. He served on the AI Best Practice & Utilization steering committee and led the financial systems implementation that automated recurring reporting for the finance org. That’s the same skill set now built into every engagement, not a service bolted on afterward.

After years of building this rigor for companies that could afford a full FP&A org, Daniel started Rosen CFO Partners to bring the same discipline to founder run businesses and non-profits. He’s seen firsthand how much value this unlocks, and feels passionately that financial planning and analysis should be available to every company and non-profit. They all need CFO-level judgment long before they need CFO-level headcount.

Outside the day job, Daniel is a musician who plays tuba and bass at Wellshire Presbyterian Church and coaches his son’s 8U baseball team. You’ll often find him on the baseball field or in the mountains, enjoying everything Colorado has to offer.
